Founded by Julie Aydlott who published many books through her accounting business, the company was split so that they could offer an opportunity for other unknown writers to sell a valuable product.  Our focus is on marketing our list of books through profitable resources.  Over 70% of new author books ordered by a retailer are returned to the publisher within the 90 day return policy period for a full credit.  This return policy is standard in the industry and very costly to publishers.  It is also charged back against the writers royalty payment.   Our books are available by special order at Borders Books, they are on the shelves of many libraries throughout the US as well as Amazon and other online retailers.  We do not offer a 90 day return policy and rarely see a return which saves us thousands of dollars.  SDBAS spends its advertising dollar on internet marketing for our publications to gain a higher return of profits for our writers.  If you are looking to submit your manuscript in hopes that you will have large display racks at the from of Borders or other major retailers, SDBAS Publishing does not spend the advertising dollar in that area.
